When making flight arrangements for NTI, the closest airport serving the most passenger airlines is Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). This airport services nearly all major airlines and is approximately 25 miles east of Ann Arbor or about a half-hour car ride.
Getting from the airport to your hotel is easy and convenient. You can grab a cab, arrange one of the shuttles or pick-up a rental car, keep in mind parking on campus is very limited.

Both campuses have plenty of parking, so we plan to reduce the number of buses we rent for the week and encourage you to drive. If you are riding the bus, you can expect a longer ride, especially in the evening after classes. The two campuses are further from the hotels than the University of Michigan.
