First Year
In the first year of the New Training Director Development program focuses on operational competence, participants will start with an opening session on Sunday to introduce objectives and an overview of the week. Key presentations will include the “State of the Industry” and sessions led by various experts. Throughout the week, participants will attend sessions on topics such as apprenticeship compliance, ERISA, grant readiness, insurance, investigations, standards, budgeting, dispute resolution, and life balance.
Second Year
The second year of the program will follow a similar structure as first year with a focus on strategic leadership, beginning with an opening session on Sunday. Participants will again attend key presentations on the “State of the Industry” and various expert-led sessions. The week will cover topics legal topics with attorneys, staff development planning, professional growth, standards, advanced budgeting, and life balance.
Third Year
The third year is an advanced, interactive experience for Training Directors ready to lead beyond compliance and operations. This lab-focused program equips participants to address emerging challenges, modernize apprenticeship policies, and build forward-thinking strategies that strengthen their training centers and shape the future of the industry.
